Project Overview
The Challenge
Industrial Systems, Inc. is working with Smith Monroe Gray Engineers (SMG) to complete the electrical and control system designs for a pet coke storage, reclaim, and conveyance system for the FHR Pine Bend Refinery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The system will include auto-reclaim from pile storage and transfer to outbound truck or rail. The ability for coke to bypass storage and be loaded directly to truck, rail, or temporary pile storage will also be included in the design.
Our Approach
The Solution
Industrial Systems has provided preliminary one-line drawings, load calculations, a site plan, as well as a proposed control system block diagram. The team is working with the owner to clarify the path forward with final design for this project.
